For over a decade Paul Muldoon’s feast of music and storytelling has brought together renowned guests from the worlds of arts and letters. Named after a popular New York vaudeville act and an Irish-American knockabout farce from the 1880s Muldoon’s Picnic has its regular home at the Irish Arts Center in New York, making occasional forays into the wider world.

Paul will be joined by special guests including writers Kevin Barry, Lisa McInerney, Clair Wills and Lucy Caldwell

House band for the night is made up of members of Dublin’s legendary Horslips, whose fusion of traditional Irish tunes and rock rhythms has brought them a dedicated following from 1970 onwards.

Doors and bar open from 18:30. The show starts at 19:30 and runs for two hours including an interval.

Discounts available for British Library Members and half price tickets for Students, Under 26 and other concession groups.

*Muldoon’s Picnic is not included in Saturday and Weekend Passes and separate tickets are required.

Online tickets are also available, that will enable you to watch Muldoon’s Picnic, either live or for the next 7 days on catch up. Viewing links for the online version will be sent out in the confirmation email you receive after booking.
